Because of the generous donations of our ministry partners, we removed the paywall on all of our online discipleship courses and released them for FREE this year.

The results have been breathtaking. In just one year, we have doubled our student base.

OVER 20,000 STUDENTS have been discipled in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Praise God!

Alongside this, several donors have stepped forward to fund the development of a new Excellencies app and website. It will be a state-of-the-art discipleship platform with a multi-language capacity.

Because of this, we are launching our much-anticipated Excellencies Language Project. Our vision is to see all our online courses on the app/website translated for the Portuguese- and Spanish-speaking world. This has been a dream in our hearts that’s finally happening.

In other words, if we went free this year, we believe God will enable us to go global next year!

Finally, as I’ve been reflecting on the state of the church, I’ve been overcome by a phrase the Holy Spirit continually whispers to me while I pray—Solus Christus (which means “Christ alone”). I had no idea how much this phrase, one of the five solas of the Reformation, would disrupt and grip me. 

I am convinced that the church needs to be reformed, and this will only come through returning to the knowledge of Jesus.

Moving forward, we feel called at Excellencies of Christ to form a spiritual community around Christ alone. Through this, we want to initiate a global dialogue of believers, leaders, and communities to reform the current leadership culture by evaluating every leadership value, principle, strategy, and practice by the person and work of Christ.

We desire to encourage a consortium of the humbled who explore the nature of Christ and how it speaks to the nature of the Church and its leadership values, goals, and practices.

We are calling this the Solus Christus Society, which will begin Feb. 4, 2025.

After a five-year window of leading thousands through 40-day journeys into intimacy with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we are going to shift to a regular online gathering focused on the Solus Christus reality. This upcoming February we will begin a weekly Bible study in the Gospel of John. There is no better place to start than in the Word!

To fund the team that makes this vision happen, continue releasing new free courses, and begin translation efforts, we are seeking to raise $250,000 by December 31, 2024.
