August 2022 | Ministry Update

I made an update video for you to watch. It's about twenty-five minutes long, but I promise you that it will be worth your time. The ministry has been up to some exciting things this summer, and I want you to hear what your prayers and financial partnership are producing.

As Jonathan and I discuss in the video, the majority of our ministry this summer has focused on the theme of family. In June, we filmed a new online course called Restoring the Family, which is intended to practically equip parents to turn their hearts to their children and children to their parents (Mal. 4:5-6).

Family is one of life’s great joys and great challenges. So, it was profound to be able to talk about family and co-teach the sessions with my oldest son, Samuel! We even filmed a session where Rachel, Samuel, Jonathan, and I sat down, all together, and shared vulnerable, specific dynamics within our family—real failures and successes. That was my favorite session. I can't wait for families to hear this one!

In July, my second son, Jonathan, and I went to Canby, Oregon to a family camp. This was such a sweet time!

We had the privilege of modeling partnership and friendship together as family, speaking on Psalm 139, Malachi 4:6, and practical ways parents and children can begin turning their hearts towards one another.

Here in Florida, the Lord has been moving among our small community. It has been wonderful to have the Hall family move to the Treasure Coast. Rachel and I are continuing to believe for an easy transition for Wes, Carol, and the kids. Even more, things are beginning to pick up, as Pablo Perez, Kairos Global, and Jonathan and Christie will be moving down to the area within the next four-to-six months.

God is beginning to do a work here, and we believe He is forming a worshiping community committed to the Great Commission, intimacy with Jesus, strong families, and loving discipleship. We are so excited and expectant of all He is going to do.

Whether it has been through email correspondence or online course webinars, we love every chance we get to connect with you. It is in our heart to be with you in person within the near future. As I said in the video, be on the lookout for an intimate gathering where we can share meals, talk about Jesus, and maybe even be able to walk the land that Jesus walked in Israel.

My heart has been overwhelmed by those of you that have partnered with us as we have begun to sow seeds in Port St. Lucie, FL. Thank you for your consistent support, prayers, and love. You held us up when our knees failed and our hearts were tired. Honestly, we could not have come to this place without our team—YOU.

Blessings and love,
